How money and safety work

DuoQueue is built against the usual marketplace failure modes: vanished earnings, fee stacks, ignored reports, fake ranks, and support black holes.

Fees

One platform cut: 18% of the listed session price. Card processing is paid by DuoQueue out of that cut. There is no withdraw fee, top-up fee, or channel fee. The same numbers appear on browse, profile, checkout, and creator earnings.

Fee math

One cut · 18%

You pay$40.00
Creator receives$32.80
Platform fee (18%)$7.20

Card processing is included in the 18% platform fee. No withdraw, top-up, or channel fees.

Payout timing

  1. 1. Player pays. Funds are reserved for that booking.
  2. 2. After the session, a 48-hour window. Either side can open a dispute with evidence.
  3. 3. Then earnings become eligible and join the next Friday 16:00 UTC batch.
  4. 4. A hold only happens with a ticket, a reason, and an appeal path. Money never sits in unlabeled limbo.

Safety

  • 18+ age gate at signup. Birth year is stored, not displayed.
  • Zero tolerance for sexual solicitation or harassment.
  • No adult content, custom pics, tip jars, or extras.
  • Good-faith reports cannot be used to auto-punish the reporter.
  • Chat exists only on paid bookings — no open DMs.

Disputes and reviews

Either side can open a dispute during the window. Both can respond. Promo and free sessions still get a support ticket. Reviews can be flagged; a flagged review is hidden from public until a human looks. There is no one-click review bomb without review.

Profiles

One email, one account. “Identity checked” means we verified the person, not that they are a pro. Ranks are labeled self-reported unless play-verified. Games on a profile must be games they queue — you cannot list titles you do not play.

Privacy

Emails never appear on profiles or in public reviews. Sessions use httpOnly cookies. We collect email, display name, birth year, and booking records — not a social graph. Join links live in paid chat, not on the listing.

Support

Booking and payment issues open an in-app ticket with a public number (DQ-xxxx), a status, and a timeline. That is the product — not a contact form that goes nowhere.
